Today we’ll share five tips to help make exercising seem like less of a chore and maybe even something you enjoy!

Tip #1: Trial & Error

If you have tried to exercise in the past and it didn’t work out, you should not be afraid to try a different form of exercise! The internet has made almost all types of exercise accessible from the comfort of your home. Whether you are thinking about trying out pilates, yoga, strength training, or High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), you’ll find something online that is new and exciting! Plus, if you find that you enjoy multiple different types of exercises, you can make yourself a schedule and plan a different type of exercise for every day that you want to get a workout in!

Tip #2: Make a Schedule

Making a schedule will help you keep have a visual to remind you when to get your exercise in. You can also print out your schedule and cross off the days that you choose to exercise! This will show you how much you have accomplished and can also serve as motivation to keep going when you feel like giving up.

Tip #3: Find Someone to Exercise With

Finding someone to exercise with can help you look forward to exercising! It is also a great way to boost your accountability. Make sure you choose an exercise partner that is motivated to exercise and will hold you accountable for showing up! If exercise is something that you dread, reward yourself with a healthy smoothie or brunch trip with your exercise partner after your workout!

Tip #4: Take a Class

Taking a fitness class is a great way to re-introduce exercise into your life. Exercise classes are a great way to work out with a group of like-minded people and stick to a consistent schedule. As a bonus, a lot of workout classes are now offering delicious recovery shakes and smoothies that you can look forward to after each class.
